Damn, I totally forgot tumblr existed for a bit.

Been cooking a whole lot, which definitely makes me happy. Feel like maybe I’m getting my shit together finally.

Had spur of the moment hangs with the boys Friday night, felt like old times.

Crystal Castles ticket purchased, yeah boy!

Pretty sure my summer wardrobe is actually sorted for once in my life….previously I’d just continue to wear layer upon layer of black until passing out from heat exhaustion. Purchased a fairly high but crazycomfortable pair of neutral wedges from Wittner for $33, which seem to go with everything in my wardrobe. Win!

Leaving for LA in just over a month, pretty freakin’ excited. I won’t deny it, I love America. I think the long-term goal is to live in SF, that would be so god damn amazing.

Feeling so nourished after delicious vegan lunch at Bliss…including raw vegan strawberry coconut icecream cake, mindblowing!

Definitely aiming to learn to cook a whole bunch of excellent vegan recipes, atm I’ve mainly been eating tofu/TVP Mexican, tofu/tempeh stir fries, vegie sausages, lentil chili & curries.

Bought some okra from the markets, which will become a hopefully delish gumbo. Also on the menu:

snobby joes, punk rock chickpea gravy, edamame pesto pasta, lemon garlic fava beans & mushrooms.

I’ve worked so hard to achieve certain things, but then I wonder whether it’s all worth it when I feel so anxious and terrified that they won’t last.

Slow internet making it impossible to lose myself in tumblr posts/youtube videos just amplifies that sense of hopelessness.
